Bloomfield, NJ — July 27, 2026 — We are sharing a brief operational update regarding our laboratory facility in East Syracuse, NY.

On July 26th, the laboratory building sustained unexpected structural damage following a motor vehicle accident. Employee safety is our highest priority, and we are pleased to confirm that no injuries occurred.

While the majority of our laboratory operations remain fully functional, the incident has temporarily impacted three specific testing groups:

  • HPLC: Aldehydes, PAHs, isocyanates, cannabinoids, amines, phenol/cresol, TGIC, anhydrides, peracetic acid
  • Ion Chromatography: Hexavalent chromium, organic and inorganic acids, ozone, chlorine/bromine, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide (Umex badges), nitrogen trichloride
  • Gravimetric: Dust

Business Continuity in Action

To maintain analytical capacity and minimize any potential disruption to your projects, our team immediately activated our business continuity plan. We have reallocated resources across our network and are actively auditing all in-house inventory to verify sample integrity, retrieve available analytical data, and identify any samples requiring immediate outreach.

For parameter groups requiring temporary external support, our Client Services team is actively coordinating with qualified partner laboratories to manage seamless subcontracting while facility repairs are underway. While standard turnaround time (TAT) guarantees for these specific parameter groups are temporarily suspended, all samples will be prioritized, and expedited options remain available to support critical project deadlines.
