SGS has strengthened its North American environmental testing network through the asset purchase of the APPL laboratory from Metiri. Based in Clovis, California, this transaction includes the lab’s equipment, LIMS, and quality system, and enables SGS to begin operations immediately from the existing facility under the SGS network.
“Integrating the APPL lab into our network allows SGS to expand capacity for clients while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service,” said Marcus Maguire, Head of Environment, Health and Safety North America at SGS. “This facility and team strengthen our national capabilities in PFAS and other environmental analyses.”
As a full-service Department of Defense (DoD)-certified laboratory with extensive PFAS testing capabilities, this addition expands SGS’s laboratory footprint across the West and Midwest and strengthens our analytical capacity for clients across North America.
